On July 31, entrusted by President Benyang of Laos, Camani, member of the Central Committee of Laos, Minister of energy and mineral resources and chairman of Laos China Friendship Association, presented Laos "National Labor Medal" and award certificate issued by Lao Prime Minister Tong Lun for the south Russia 5 hydropower station constructed by the company, in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the social and economic development of Laos. This is also the first time that a Chinese enterprise has won the honor in the power investment project in Laos.

Kamani pointed out that since the development and construction of Nam Ngum 5 hydropower station, it has strictly followed the development policies of Laos, strictly controlled the construction quality, paid close attention to safety management, and helped the development of people's livelihood. He hoped that the south Russia 5 hydropower station would continue to make efforts to contribute to the economic and social development of Laos, continuously improve the living conditions of local people, boost the development of clean energy in Laos, and establish Laos hydropower bank Industry development model.
